Classes

PCC scores points in the following classes:

  • Unlimited
  • Equipped
  • SOP

These classes are defined by each, individual, event. Since the rules for each region vary slightly, you are obliged to check each event’s regulations for exact requirements. Some events allow more than the three classes listed in the above ‘Americanized?version. Pacific Coast Challenge scores are merged into the appropriate PCC class as ‘mapped?on this page. These mappings are based on the equipment allowed for the class in question and subject to change, with or without notice. In other words, we don’t review event regulations before every rally but will act accordingly and adjust scores retroactively, if necessary. (Our advice to you is to take full advantage of the rules in place.)

Organizers and Workers receive the average score (rounded) from the other events that year.  An example might be if a competitor earned 8, 1 and 4 during three events and worked  at another, that competitor would receive 4 (13/3) points for a grand total of 17 points.  Another example would be if you went to pandora orecchini only one event and won your class receiving 10 points  and then worked an event you would receive 3 (10/3) points for a grand total of 13.  Organizers and Workers may only use this for one score. At the end of the season, if there is a tie for the final standings, the tie will be broken based on the following protocol:

  1. Most events attended including worked ones.
  2. Most 1st's, then 2nd's, then 3rd's etc.
  3. Coin-toss by PCC Administrator, unless the Administrator is involved in the tie in which case an appointed PCC representative will handle it.
